Category:Kalavasos & Tochni Villages
First stop will be at the Kalavassos Village. Going in Olive plantations clients will pick olives by themselves which they will afterwards clean and bottle into jars and go through the marinating olives procedure.
After that we continue to Tochni, a typical traditional Cypriot village with many old stone houses bearing traditional architecture of carved doors and wooden windows, where we will visit the Goat farm and stables. Clients can see and touch Mrs. Evlambia's herd of goats, and watch her prepare the island's traditional goat cheese, ‘halloumi'.
A traditional Cypriot breakfast will be served afterwards, including fresh halloumi, olives, tomatoes, cucumber and homemade bread.
After breakfast we will visit the olive oil mill and watch the production of the olive oil. Toasted bread with fresh oil to taste will be served.
Back to the village Square, clients can visit a traditional village house and the Tochni Taverna where they will enjoy a delicious lunch with local village wine.
