Just like the good old times, when village fairs was, one of the very few forms of entertainment and socializing, your clients will do the same at the old monastery of Polemi village, “Metochi”, Our group of dancers will offer a most warm welcome to the group, with “Zivania” the traditional schnapps of Cyprus and barbequed “halloumi” cheese.
Old village ladies will put your guest’s sweet tooth into trial with their traditional a la minute prepared & cooked “Lokmades”.
A variety of many traditional little dishes, the famous “Cyprus Meze” will more than fulfill your guest’s appetite and the very good wine of the area along with our live folkloric music and dancing show will get everyone up and dancing.
In the meantime they will have the opportunity to enjoy the ethnographic exhibits and traditional handicrafts at the old monastery and experience how carpets and baskets were produced traditionally on the weaving loom and by hand respectively, as well as how clay is worked on the wheel to produce vases and other forms of pottery.
