Discover parts of hidden Cyprus while learning bits and pieces of the island’s 10,000 years long history and culture
First stop at one off the islands most visited sites, the birthplace of the Goddess of love, Aphrodite’s Rock, where according to tradition if you swim in an anticlockwise way around the rock 3 times, you will gain internal beauty.
Heading towards Limassol we will stop for wine tasting at Cyprus’s first wine museum. After a quick introduction to the history of Cyprus wines, we will taste and learn about some of the islands best wines.
The next stop of the tour will be the picturesque and unspoiled village of Anogira, where we will visit the “House of Olives”. We will be guided around the Olive museum, the procedure and history of Oil making will be explained and eventually the guests will be treated to an olive and cheese tasting accompanied by some delicious easy- bake recipes and some more wine.
The tour can be arranged either with buses on normal roads or with Land Rover Jeeps going through some loose surface roads adding to the fun of the day
An optional Buffet lunch can be arranged depending on available time
